Dr. Carmen N. DiMario is the medical director of the DiMario Cosmetic Surgery Center and his private Clinic first opened in 1985, in Bala Cynwyd, PA. 

Previous to his success as a Cosmetic Surgeon, Dr. DiMario started his surgical training in the areas of Facial Plastic Surgery, Head and Neck Surgery and Otorinolaringology at the Philadelphia Collage of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. He then transitioned to the area of Cosmetic Plastic Surgery after training with several top Cosmetic Plastic Surgeons in the Los Angeles, New York and Philadelphia areas.

Dr. DiMario’s resume includes being Chief of the department of Cosmetic Surgery at Mercy Haverford Hospital and a Clinical Instructor for the Fellowship Training Programs in Facial Plastic Surgery and Cosmetic Surgery at Graduate Hospital and PCOM in Philadelphia.

He has developed and perfected many innovative major surgical and minimally invasive Cosmetic procedures for the face, body and skin. These procedures include multiple techniques in nasal contouring, lipo-sculpting, facelifts, facial implants, laser treatments and injectable filler techniques.

He is Double Board Certified in Facial Plastic Surgery and Cosmetic Surgery.

• Board Certified in Facial Plastic Surgery by American Osteopathic Boards of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology-Facial Plastic-Head and Neck Surgery in 1986.
• Board Certified in Cosmetic Surgery by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery in1987.

Dr. DiMario has been performing the Art of Cosmetic Surgery for over 25 years and performs all of the cosmetic facial rejuvenation and cosmetic surgical procedures at our center. 

He is now limiting his practice to performing only the minimally invasive, state-of-the-art office based procedures.

Throughout his career, Dr. DiMario has demonstrated a commitment to excellence.

His tenet is that the goal of cosmetic surgery is to create improvement while maintaining a natural appearance. This natural appearance is achieved through the use of artistic talent, experience and modern techniques to make his patients look younger and refreshed not “overdone” or "operated."
